April 10, 2010 – Katie Armiger’s hit single “Kiss Me Now,” from her forthcoming third album on Cold River Records, is a featured free download in the May 2010 People Magazine Country Special Issue on newsstands now. People’s Country Special issue, on newsstands for one month, highlights eight buzz-worthy artists in their “Hot Songs For Free!” section including “Kiss Me Now.” Fans can go to www.people.com/free through June 15th to get an iTunes code for a free download of Katie’s single, which is climbing the country charts.

 

In an exclusive interview with People Magazine Katie explains that “Kiss Me Now” is “A flirty song about those times when you have to forgo subtlety because someone isn’t getting the hints.” Katie is featured alongside some of country’s biggest rising stars including Danny Gokey, Colt Ford, and Coldwater Jane.

 

Written by Katie along with Lyric Street recording artist Sarah Buxton and well-known Nashville songwriter Blair Daly who has worked with the likes of Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Keith Urban, “Kiss Me Now” is Katie’s highest charting single to date and her first song on the Billboard Country Singles chart.
